To bid, fill in the personal information at the top of the form.  The first time you bid please fill in all the personal information.  If you bid again you only need to put in your first and last name as I will already have the rest of your information.  Once you've done that put your bid in the box under the "Bid Here" column for any item(s) you would like to bid on.  You can bid on more than one item at a time.

The Minimum Bid Increment that will be accepted on all Deer/Elk is $200.00 and on Semen and Live Covers is $100.00.  If a bid comes in for a deer/elk, live cover, or semen that is not at least that much more than the High Bid, the bid will be increased by the minimum bid amount based on the item being bid on.  Minimum bids on all other items will be $10.00.  If the bid is not at least that much more than the high bid on that item, the bid will be increased by the minimum bid amount.  There may be individual items below that have a minimum bid different from those mentioned above.  If so this fact will be highlighted in the Donation column.

Attention:  Buyers are responsible for shipping.

Don't be alarmed because your bid does not show up right away like it does on a regular auction site.  Once you hit the Submit button an email will be sent to the site administrator.  The site administrator will then post the information from the email on the website.  Email cannot be monitored at all hours of the day but an attempt is made to check it at least once every hour or two.  The last day of the auction the email is monitored constantly the last four hours of the auction.  Every attempt will be made to make timely updates.  If you run into trouble getting this form to work you can send an email to info@indianadeer.com or call (260) 438-5164 to place a bid.

The online portion of the IDEFA auction will run on this site until July 31, 2008.  All bids entered prior to 9:00 pm EDT on July 31 will be accepted.  Your bid is stamped with a time you hit the submit button.  As long as that timestamp is before the deadline the bid will be accepted.  Beware if you are planning on waiting until the last second to bid.  Because of the volume of last minute bids the most up to date bid may not be reflected on the site within the last minute or so.  Make sure your last bid is high enough so that if another bid came in just before yours you will still have a chance to be high bidder on the lot.

One Last Item - An Important One.  Many of you may not be able to attend the live auction but you may still want to have a chance to win an item that receives bids at the auction.  We are accepting "Up To" bids on items.  Let's say the high bid on a doe is $600.00 and you want her.  On the auction site you can increase the bid by at least $200.  Let's say you bid $800.00 but you are willing to go as high as $2000 on her.  In this example, in the Bid Here box below for that doe you would put     800  U 2000       This would tell the site administrator you want to bid $800 now, and each time you are outbid, even during the live auction, your bid will automatically be raised another $200, (the minimum bid amount for a deer), up to $2000.  If the bid goes over $2000 you would no longer be in the running to win that lot.  Again, to place an UP TO bid, put the amount you are currently bidding, followed by a U and then followed by the amount you are willing to go Up To.  No one but the site administrator will know the amount of any Up To bids except the site administrator until bidding on the item during the live auction has ended.

HAVE FUN AND GOOD LUCK!!!

Good Luck to IDEFA and to all bidders and a HUGE THANK YOU to all who have donated.
